This hike is one of the reasons I love living in LA so much. A total adventure away from civilization, plenty of river crossings no matter when you go, and just over 30 minutes from downtown LA. This was Rocky's first adventure with me, and he did fabulously. It was also Ray's first hike with me, and I guess it's a good sign that he wanted to keep on hiking after this one. We didn't make it to the famous Bridge to Nowhere with the Bungee Jumpers thanks to a very late start, but there's always next time.
