Guadalajara, Manzanillo, Lake Chapala : Dad and I had a great time visiting parts of Mexico we had never seen before: 1) Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city, a vibrant and historically rich metropolis, 2) Manzanillo, the country's biggest port with some beautiful beaches, and 3) Lake Chapala, Mexico's largest lake home to charming villages that beckon American and Canadian retirees.

Guatemala May 2007 : Thanks to Spirit Air, I enjoyed a short but fun-filled discovery tour of beautiful Guatemala visting: Antigua, the former Spanish colonial capital of Central America; the still active Pacaya Volcano, the ancient marketplace of Chichicastenango, and the beautiful Lake Atitlan.  I can't wait for the next trip to Guatemala, especially to see the Mayan Pyramids at Tikal.
