Amazing hike in the John Muir Wilderness filled with so much water and fantastic views of the Sierra Crest. Every 5 minutes you see a new lake in the aptly named Little Lakes Valley. This is probably one of the easiest hikes in the Eastern Sierras. 7 miles, not much elevation gain, and you never get bored because the lakes are amazing. My favorite lakes of the day were the Gem Lakes with a rich gorgeous green.
Hike begins at Mosquito Flat at the end of Rock Creek Road and traverses through Little Lakes Valley up to Morgan Pass at 11,120 ft.

Rock Creek Lake near the end of the road from Tom's Place. Because the trail head parking was full, I had to HITCHHIKE from Rock Creek Lake to the trailhead at Mosquito Flats. No mosquitos by the way.
