Rustic Canyon and Will Rogers : Dad, Rocky and I went on two short hikes in Pacific Palisades: (1) a short two mile hike to Inspiration Point in Will Rogers State Historic Park, followed by (2) a mini-adventure through Rustic Canyon. Rustic Canyon involves hiking on an unmaintained trail through a very lush canyon, with numerous creek crossings. It's amazing there is this much water in Pacific Palisades! The day was absolutely spectacular with abundant sunshine, deep greens thanks to recent rainfall, and brilliant wildflowers. Temescal Loop : Relatively easy 4 mile loop hike in Pacific Palisades with a small waterfall, a mystical forest, and amazing views of LA and Santa Monica Bay.
