East San Bernardino Peak, Anderson Peak, Shields Peak : A hike with the Outdoors Club to three major peaks in the San Bernardino Mountains: East San Bernardino Peak (10,691 ft), Anderson Peak (10,840 ft), and Shields Peak (10,680 ft).  This was my first hike with the Outdoors Club, and I was actually disappointed that the trip "leader" wasn't much of a leader, which resulted in most people (except Miki, Sri and I) getting lost at some point or another.  Weather was relatively warm, but there was rain and thunder in the afternoon, when we began the descent back.
Date: July 21, 2007.  Mileage: 18.  Elevation gain: 4,800 ft.

Jenks Lake : My timing for exploring Jenks Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains was just perfect as I got to witness the lake's amazing mirroring qualities.  Perfectly symmetrical.
